I'm a Software Developer
Started in business, switched to code, and haven't looked back. I build full-stack applications and love the moment a messy real-world problem turns into something that actually works.
About Me
I'm a Software Developer
Recently graduated from Ara Institute of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology, specialising in Software Development and finishing with Distinction.
I work across the full stack with experience in C#, Python, JavaScript, Java, PHP, HTML, CSS, and databases including MySQL and MongoDB. Outside of study I build personal projects to sharpen my skills and tackle real-world problems I've noticed in everyday life.
I have a strong interest in data, analysis, and getting to the root cause of problems. Finance, economics, and investment are also areas I genuinely enjoy, and I love finding ways to combine that curiosity with my technical skills.
When I'm not coding, you'll find me playing sports, going for walks, or capturing the scenery and people around me through photography.
2 Years Experience
As a full-stack developer through academic projects and personal builds, plus 5 months of hands-on experience working in a professional development team as an intern.
Full-Stack Skills
Comfortable across frontend and backend, multiple languages and frameworks, databases, APIs, and shipping complete products from idea to deployment.
Problem Solver
I enjoy digging into problems, understanding the root cause, and building practical solutions.
Portfolio
A 4-month internship project enhancing an existing responsive web app that lets motorhome travellers search, book, and review parking spaces across New Zealand. Working as a full-stack developer, I gained hands-on experience applying React, TypeScript, and Ionic in a real-world production codebase.

One of my first real-client projects, a full redesign of the Millars Beach community website built to spec from client requirements. Working full-stack, I learned how to translate real-world briefs into a clean, modern site using PHP, Tailwind, and HTML.

A personal project born from a real-world problem. While on a trip back to Vietnam, I noticed the confusion around the country's new tax rules and decided to build a solution. I took it all the way from idea to tested product, calculating income tax under the updated rules and turning a personal frustration into something practical.

My personal portfolio site, built to serve as my online resume. A central place where I can showcase my projects, skills, and experience in a way that feels more alive than a PDF ever could.
